The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) allowed Regions 6, 7 and 8 (Western, Central and Eastern Visayas) to raise the minimum fare by P1.

Jeepneys in Central Visayas currently charge P5 for the first 4 km, while jeepneys in Western and Eastern Visayas charge P5 for the first 5 km.
