Senator takes on preneed firms
The Senate majority leader, Francis Pangilinan, on Sunday proposed stiffer penalties for preneed firms in the light of the Pacific Plans Inc. halfhearted assurance to pay for the tuition fees of its 16,000 plan holders who will be using their plans for this school year.
