Stained Glass is a story of 3 orphans Eugene, Jamie and Kevin, who became the best of friends. As children their friendship soon developed into love.
One day, Jamie accidentally drops her flute, a gift from Eugene, in the river. Eugene comes to the rescue and goes after the flute, but tragically drowns. Thinking that Eugene died, Jamie accepts Kevin's love in place of her lost love.
The conflict starts when, after a couple of years, Eugene returns. His friends were unaware that he was rescued from the river. Unfortunately, he discovers that the girl he loves is already with someone else: his childhood best friend, Kevin.

Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger's interventions are a roll call of flashpoints for the church: the 1987 order stripping American theologian the Rev. Charles Curran of the right to teach because he encouraged dissent; crippling Latin Americans supporting the popular "liberation theology" movement for alleged Marxist leanings; coming down hard on efforts to rewrite Scriptures in gender inclusive language.
He also shows no flexibility on the church's views on priestly celibacy, contraception and the ban on ordinations for women.
In 1986, he denounced rock music as the "vehicle of anti-religion." In 1988, he dismissed anyone who tried to find "feminist" meanings in the Bible. Last year, he told American bishops that it was allowable to deny Communion to those who support such "manifest grave sin" as abortion and euthanasia.
He earned unflattering nicknames such as Panzercardinal, God's rottweiler, and the Grand Inquisitor. Cartoonists emphasized his deep-set eyes and Italians lampooned his pronounced German accent.
"Indeed, it would be hard to find a Catholic controversy in the past 20 years that did not somehow involve Joseph Ratzinger," John Allen, a Vatican reporter for the National Catholic Register, wrote six years ago.
But among conservatives, he rose in stature. An online fan club sings his praises and offers souvenirs with the slogan: "Putting the smackdown on heresy since 1981."
In recent years, he took on issues outside church doctrine. He once called Buddhism a religion for the self-indulgent. In an interview with the French magazine Le Figaro last year, he suggested Turkey's bid to join the Europe Union conflicted with Europe's Christian roots — a view that could unsettle Vatican attempts to improve relations with Muslims.
"Turkey has always represented a different continent, in permanent contrast to Europe," he was quoted as saying.
"If he continues as pope the way he was as a cardinal, I think we will see a polarized church," said David Gibson, a former Vatican Radio journalist and author of a book on trends in the church. "He has said himself that he wanted a smaller, but purer, church."
Critics complain Ratzinger embodies all the conservative instincts of the last papacy, but without John Paul's charisma and pastoral genius.
"I think this is the closest the church can come to human cloning," quipped Gibson.
It's a joke not too far off the mark.

Synopsis / Brief: Lee Soo-jung is an orphan who works as a tour guide in Bali. She has a useless brother that constantly gets into trouble and needs her to bail him out all the time. She struggles to make ends meet and aspires to be rescued out of her current predicament by a rich & wealthy man. Jung Jae-min is the youngest son of the wealthy Chairman of the Pax Group. He is uninterested in business, irresponsible, arrogant, childish, self-centered and a playboy. He is engaged to Choi Young-joo, who comes from a comparable wealthy and powerful family. Both Jae-min and Young-joo are not in love with each other and continues to see other people. Young-joo in turn is still in love with her ex-boyfriend Kang In-wook whom she left so that she can be engaged to Jae-min (as per arranged by both parents). Kang In-wook comes from a broken family, his parents are divorced and his mother opens a small restaurant. He is a capable person at work but he has a cold exterior and it is difficult to read his mind. On a business trip to Indonesia, Jae-min and Young-joo take a trip, but Young-joo was there to meet In-wook instead. The three meet and decide to have a trip with Jae-min thinking that In-wook is Young-joo’s old classmate. Soo-jung was their tour guide who realizes that Jae-min was rich and powerful and decides to seduce him. Jae-min eventually finds out that the friendship of Young-joo and In-wook is not exactly that friendly thus in his jealous rage leaves the two and eventually ends up with Soo-jung who he treats badly. In-wook finds out about Soo-jung’s situation later at a chance meeting. However, as time passes Jae-min and Soo-jung end up in a relationship out of sheer circumstances. The bond that quickly grows with Soo-jung and Jae-min becomes a destructive and tumultuous one. Their relationship that revolves around passion, intrigue and selfishness changed groups’ lives forever. The forbidden relationship that grows with Jae-min and eventually In-wook’s feelings with Soo-jung continues to create dischord and eventually leads to the climactic showdown between the three star-crossed lovers.
