Shaq uncertain for last two games (AP) - Shaquille O'Neal was unable to practice Monday because of his bruised right thigh, and the All-Star center's availability for Miami's final two regular-season games is uncertain.

Jefferson wants to return for playoffs (AP) - Three months after having surgery to repair a torn ligament in his left wrist, forward Richard Jefferson said Monday he will play if the New Jersey Nets make the playoffs. ``There hasn't been pain for a month or so,'' Jefferson said.

Sonics knock Wolves out of playoff hunt (AP) - The Minnesota Timberwolves spent a week on the brink of playoff elimination. Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis ended the suspense. Allen scored 34 points and Lewis added 28 to lead the Seattle SuperSonics to a 109-94 victory, eliminating the Wolves.
